# HRC2light Protective Glove | Size: 8 (Part Number: HV1068)

This product belongs to the Wieländer+Schill high-voltage protective equipment category, specifically designed for protection against arc flash. The **HRC2light** protective glove has an extremely lightweight design and is an excellent accessory for insulating gloves used during electrical work.

## Comprehensive Product Description

The HRC2light protective gloves are made using the most modern materials, **Nomex®** and **Kevlar®** fabrics, thereby ensuring excellent arc protection along with wearing comfort. These gloves can be worn on their own, but are primarily recommended as a layer (liner) under insulating gloves.

In the event of an arc flash, the protective glove plays a critical role: it prevents the insulating glove material from melting and adhering to the surface of the hand, thereby minimizing the risk of serious burn injuries.

Considerable emphasis was placed on usability and ergonomics during the design of the gloves. The soft, flexible knit material ensures a perfect fit while preserving excellent touch and sensitivity, even when worn under insulating protective gloves. The inwardly turned seams are made with aramid thread, which increases durability and reduces skin irritation.

**Important Warning:** These gloves **do not inherently have insulating properties** against electric current. Full protection against electric shock, as well as maximum safety against the thermal hazards of arc flash, can only be achieved when combined with insulating gloves.

## Main Features and Advantages

* **Lightweight Design:** Extremely low weight (only 0.040 kg), which increases wearing comfort during longer work periods.

* **Excellent Haptics:** The soft and flexible knitted material guarantees good touch and sensitivity, allowing for precise work.

* **Sweat Reduction:** Contributes to reducing hand perspiration even when worn in layers.

* **Ergonomic Fit:** Internal seams secured with aramid thread ensure a durable and comfortable fit.

* **Compatibility:** Ideal as a liner glove under insulating protective gloves.

## Technical Data and Certifications

The HRC2light protective glove complies with strict international standards, ensuring the highest level of safety in the electrical working environment.
