OCIO is an extremely precise remote measuring device developed for the continuous and reliable monitoring of fluid levels in tanks. This system offers an ideal solution for tracking the levels of storage tanks containing fuels, lubricants, antifreeze, diesel/HVO/XTL, food-grade fluids, oils, and water. OCIO ensures accurate measurement and can be integrated into existing systems via alarm or shut-off functions.
The OCIO system is designed to ensure maximum flexibility and reliability in managing fluid inventories:
Accurate Level Measurement: The system detects the static pressure generated by the fluid height through a tube placed in the tank and displays this height or volume.
Built-in Display: Control unit equipped with intuitive, comprehensive software, providing immediate visual feedback on the fluid level.
Low/High Level Alarms: Possibility to set programmable alarm levels that activate or deactivate the output contact.
Remote Control Switching: The control unit acts as a remote switch, activating alarms or interrupting the power supply to connected equipment (e.g., pumps) based on the set alarm levels.
Versatile Application: Widely used in garage equipment, agriculture, logistics, mining and construction, as well as in industrial and marine environments.
The OCIO level sensing system consists of two main parts:
Level indication and system management.
Equipped with intuitive, comprehensive software.
Allows connection of two alarm or shut-off devices.
Programming functions: setting tank dimensions and type, defining sensing levels, defining alarm thresholds, instrument calibration, setting measurement units.
Control of the output contact based on the set alarm levels.
The end of the tube is inserted from the top of the tank and submerged into the fluid until it reaches the bottom of the tank.
Tube length: 10 meters.
Maximum measurable height: 4 meters.
