For smaller applications such as switch cabinets, electrical cabinets, small transformer stations, containers, etc., DSPA offers a simple yet multifunctional, standalone aerosol solution for fire detection and extinguishing. Using Thermocord or Nofiq FMD (Fire Management Device) and a selected DSPA aerosol generator.
Waterproof Thermocord The Thermocord can be used as a component of an extremely effective fixed fire extinguishing system. A Thermocord must be installed on a DSPA generator and can be used for fire detection and activation of the DSPA generator. The DSPA Thermocord, combined with a DSPA generator, is effective in fire classes A, B, C, and F. Thanks to the Thermocord installed inside the generator, any other detection/activation method becomes redundant. This is a very effective and cost-efficient solution while maintaining reliability.
Protective Sleeve Application The DSPA heat-reactive Thermocord is recommended for the protection of objects and confined spaces, such as engine compartments, electrical cabinets, control cabinets, and cable ducts. The heat-sensitive cord activates at a temperature increase of 165°C (waterproof version), or when the cord comes into contact with an open flame (normal version). It is recommended to install the DSPA Thermocord in an extended manner for better coverage, fasten it to the cabinet's DIN rail, cable ducts, and connect it with normal cable ties. An optional protective sleeve is available for high-demand applications.
TPE-1B The DSPA TPE-1B is a self-contained fire detection and activation unit developed for small-scale applications such as electrical cabinets, control cabinet locations, and others. It enables a basic autonomous and automatic fire extinguishing system when combined with our aerosol fire extinguishing generators. Fire detection by the TPE-1B is carried out via a Day-Impex glass bulb, commonly known as a sprinkler head. Glass bulb fire detection is a very reliable and economical way to sense fire. To enable the activation of the extinguishing unit, the glass bulb connects to the specially designed, battery-operated base unit. When the bulb bursts at a predefined temperature, a microswitch is released, and the battery power activates the extinguishing generators. Main features: Maximum 18m2 coverage, certified bulbs at 68°C, 93°C, and 141°C, 2 aerosol generators, 5-year warranty battery life.
Nofiq FMD and FE-100 The NOFIQ FMD is a stand-alone fire management device that combines a multi-sensor detector with the basic functions of a conventional fire alarm panel. The multi-sensor (CO and heat) ensures detection in the very early stages of a fire (initial phase), allowing for quick and customized intervention. The FMD unit is capable of activating DSPA generators of any size, making it applicable for the protection of various objects, enclosures, and small spaces. DSPA specifically developed the FE-100 generator for the FMD to create a compact detection and extinguishing unit. The Nofiq FMD was developed with the aim of satisfying the demand for a self-contained, easily installable solution for object-based protection and the protection of small spaces.
